our programs
ACTIONS EDUCATION
With ACTIONS Education, we bring pre-k students onto their feet and into the world of theatre. We have partnered with The Mountain School, Wilkinson Public Library, and the Telluride R-1 School District to bring the performing arts straight to your classroom.
Books Alive
With Books Alive, we bring beloved stories off the page and onto the stage. This summer, we will perform Books Alive outdoors, FREE and open to the public, at the Telluride Farmer’s Market & Mountain Village Farmer’s Market.
Bear it!
With Bear It! we teach invaluable bear safety with an off-the-walls raunchy performance (intended for adults only).
THEATRE APPRENTICESHIP
We engage high school students in our area with Theatre Apprenticeships, giving young artists an exclusive look into the world of professional theatre. We also mentor theatre students as they navigate college applications and auditions.

WHY ARTS EDUCATION MATTERS
SOCIAL SKILLS
Theatre fosters friendships & shared goals. Engaging with stories and characters are proven to help developing minds improve their empathy, collaboration, and interpersonal relationships. These benefits extend beyond the stage or the classroom, with limitless potential for community building and social harmony.
COGNITIVE development
The performing arts improve memory, focus, and concentration. Participation in theatre can also enhance reading skills, critical thinking and problem-solving skills that translate to improved performance in the classroom.
LIFE SKILLS
Theatre activities strengthen many 21st Century Skills, such as Creativity, Communication, Collaboration, Flexibility and Initiative. Public Speaking and Creative Exploration are essential life skills, and fostering them at an early age can make a huge difference down the line.
